I liked this better than the first, if only slightly (it'd get an 8.5 out of ten from me if I could show that; not enough for five stars though). It seemed as if there was more conflict, more going on, than in the first, and that made me feel more involved with the story. Furthermore, I liked getting to know Pacy better, and watching her change as she got older. It was good to see these characters again. If you liked the first book, you'll definitely like this one. I would definitely support a third book in the series.
