Kim Reads Books About Things
I like most books, particularly children's and YA. The fact that I am 21 does not and will never hinder this, and it shouldn't. A good book is a good book is a good book.
Anyway.
I'll read anything I can get my hands on if the mood suits me.
The Prophet of Yonwood
I don't get the rampant hatred for this book. Sure, it has very little to do with the other Books of Ember, but on its own it is a perfectly enjoyable story. Although I do think it would've been for the best if the author had not tied it into the series with the tacked-on final chapter, I guess it had to be done that way. Maybe as a stand-alone book it would not have garnered such dislike.
