Kim Reads Books About Things
I like most books, particularly children's and YA. The fact that I am 21 does not and will never hinder this, and it shouldn't. A good book is a good book is a good book.
Anyway.
I'll read anything I can get my hands on if the mood suits me.
The City of Ember
I adore the whole series, actually. (Okay, I haven't read the fourth, but the first three were really good.) I'm honestly a little surprised and disappointed that they're not explosively popular like certain other series. They're better written (to an extent) and have much more enjoyable characters. The setting is vivid and believable. I can't not recommend these books. The first is definitely the best of the lot, though.
