Kim Reads Books About Things

I like most books, particularly children's and YA. The fact that I am 21 does not and will never hinder this, and it shouldn't. A good book is a good book is a good book. Anyway. I'll read anything I can get my hands on if the mood suits me.

Harmonic Feedback

Harmonic Feedback - Tara Kelly I read a portion of this last year before getting swamped with other issues and having to put it off for far too long. So I won't give it a star score yet. But what I did read was AMAZING. This is the most realistic account of a girl with an incredibly high-functioning case of Asperger Syndrome that I've ever come across, and yes, she reminds me intensely of my teen self. (Interesting that I used to be more like Caitlin of "Mockingbird" and am now on the level of Drea; reading these two books can give a pretty good illustration of how the symptoms of Asperger Syndrome can lessen over time!) Definitely worth a look for all aspie girls. I look forward to reading the rest of it soon.
